Derek Vadala has vast experience in the field of information security, with roles ranging from Security Engineer to Chief Information Security Officer in various companies including Moody's Corporation. Derek is currently working as the Chief Risk Officer at BitSight and as an Investor at Gem. Derek also has experience as a Co-Founder and CEO of VisibleRisk, a company focused on quantifying and reporting cyber risk. Additionally, Derek has been involved in advisory roles and has a background in system administration and network consulting. Derek holds a BA in English Literature from the University of San Francisco.
