João Martins Severino began their work experience in 2007 as a SmartCITIES Consultant at Aitec do Brasil S.A, specializing in transportation and mobility. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Business Process Management Senior Consultant at the same company. In 2012, they co-founded Psicolink, the first online platform in Brazil connecting psychologists and patients. João held the role of Co-Founder until 2017. From 2013 to 2014, Severino worked as a Manager at Walar IT Business, overseeing an Industrialized Software Factory. Starting in 2014, they joined Altran Portugal and held various roles, including Senior Practice Manager and Head of Digital Transformation EC. In 2018, they joined BIZAY as the Chief Product Officer, where they currently work.
João Martins Severino has a diverse educational background with a focus on computer engineering and business administration. João obtained a Bachelor of Science (BsC) degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MsC) degree from the same institution in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Corporate Information Systems, which they completed in 2008.
In addition to their technical education, João attended the Management & Leadership Executive Program at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2014 to enhance their knowledge and skills in management and leadership.
To further expand their expertise in business administration and management, João enrolled in the International MBA program at FIA Business School, Universidade de São Paulo, from 2011 to 2013.
Furthermore, João has obtained the IPMA Level D – Certified Project Management Associate certification from APOGEP (Associação Portuguesa de Gestores de Projeto) / IPMA (International Project Management Association) in 2008.
Overall, João's education demonstrates a combination of technical knowledge in computer engineering and a strong foundation in business administration.
