Peter van der Beek is an experienced industrial designer currently working at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since August 2024. Previously, Peter held positions at BIG as a Student Assistant from December 2022 to June 2024 and as an Industrial Design Assistant from October 2021 to September 2022. Prior freelance experience includes working as a Designer for Gaudi Labs, where responsibility included design for the fourth generation of OpenTheremin, and as an Industrial Design Intern at Boris Berlin Design from August 2020 to February 2021. Peter obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2021 and is pursuing a Master's degree in Furniture and Objects at the Royal Danish Academy, which will be completed in July 2024. Additional educational experience includes an Erasmus program in Industrial Design at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart in early 2020.
