Jennifer Olachea is an experienced educator and writer with a strong background in language and literacy. Currently serving as a writer team lead at BJU Press since July 2017, Jennifer has planned and developed educational courses for elementary reading. Prior to this role, Jennifer spent six years teaching at Ocala Christian Academy, where responsibilities included instructing various grades and coordinating a remedial reading tutoring program. Earlier in Jennifer's career, a position as a Speech and Language Therapist at Marion County Public Schools focused on improving speech and language skills for elementary, middle school, and hearing-impaired students. Jennifer Olachea holds a Master of Education in Reading Education from Southeastern University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Clearwater Christian College.
