Pat McKern

Pat McKern is an experienced business development executive with a focus on the oil and gas industry, particularly in carbon capture and sequestration. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Business Development at BKV dCarbon Ventures since July 2022, Pat collaborates on emissions-reducing projects. Previous roles include Founder of KCM Energy LLC, VP of Midstream and Marketing at Extraction Oil & Gas, and Commercial Director at Whiting Petroleum Corporation. With a career spanning several major companies, including Noble Energy and Oxy, Pat has extensive expertise in commercial strategy, market negotiation, and project execution across various energy sectors. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
