Tobias Welz is a sustainability expert with extensive experience in sustainable procurement and environmental management. Currently serving as the Sustainability Manager Procurement at BKW AG since March 2023, Tobias has previously held positions such as Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter for sustainable public procurement at Universität Bern, where sustainability strategies were developed for ecological and social ambitions. From January 2015 to March 2019, Tobias was the Umweltbeauftragter for Erzbistum Köln, spearheading a holistic sustainability initiative. Additional roles include Program Manager for Sustainable Consumption and Production at World Resources Forum, and Manager of Sustainable Development at e-fis, among others.
