Black Girls CODE
Richard Wilkins Jr. is an experienced operations manager currently serving at Black Girls CODE since October 2021. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of office manager at The Riekes Center from February 2010 to October 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of five administrative staff and collaborating with leadership to enhance organizational processes and training. Black Girls CODE
Black Girls CODE is a global movement. Founded in 2011, the San Francisco based nonprofit introduces young girls of color, ages 6-17, to computer programming, electrical engineering, mobile app development, robotics and other STEM fields. In 2012 the nonprofit launched in 10 cities nationwide and expanded to South Africa. Voted as "2012 Most Innovative Nonprofit" by Bank of the West, the nonprofit continues to expand and empower hundreds of girls worldwide.
