Black Girls CODE
Stacy Brown-Philpot is a board member at Black Girls CODE. Stacy was previously the CEO of TaskRabbit, an online and mobile platform that connects consumers with Taskers for everyday services, from spring cleaning to moving services. Prior to their work at TaskRabbit, Ms. Brown-Philpot served as the Senior Director of Global Consumer Operations at Google. In this role, they led a team of product and project managers who were responsible for consumer products including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Talk. Ms. Brown-Philpot has also held leadership positions at Nordstrom and The Aspen Institute.
Stacy Brown-Philpot has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BSE in Economics from The Wharton School.

Black Girls CODE
Black Girls CODE is a global movement. Founded in 2011, the San Francisco based nonprofit introduces young girls of color, ages 6-17, to computer programming, electrical engineering, mobile app development, robotics and other STEM fields. In 2012 the nonprofit launched in 10 cities nationwide and expanded to South Africa. Voted as "2012 Most Innovative Nonprofit" by Bank of the West, the nonprofit continues to expand and empower hundreds of girls worldwide.
