Jera Williams, P.E., CQA, has extensive experience in the field of civil and environmental engineering, currently holding the position of Quality Manager for Water Americas at Black & Veatch since May 2007. In this role, Jera leads internal audit and project assessment programs, emphasizing the company's Quality Management System, and supports proposal efforts. Previously, Jera served as a Lead Internal Auditor, managing a team of internal auditors, and worked as a civil engineer on the MGP Remediation project for Alliant Energy, focusing on groundwater sampling and data recording. Earlier experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University under Dr. James K Cable and completing an internship at Handex, where Jera was involved in groundwater and soil sampling. Jera holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Emphasis from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The University of Kansas.
