Dean McEvoy

Dean McEvoy is an experienced entrepreneur and technology advisor with a comprehensive background in launching and scaling startups. As Managing Partner at Stanley St Advisors since June 2012, Dean focuses on helping technology companies enhance their growth strategies. Concurrently, Dean serves on the Board of Advisors for the Sydney Startup Hub, advising on the government’s strategy for the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Other notable roles include being a Limited Partner at Blackbird Ventures, a Founding Mentor and Investor at Startmate, and a Non-Executive Director for TechSydney, where efforts are directed towards fostering Sydney's tech industry. Dean's entrepreneurial journey includes founding and leading several companies, such as Spreets, Australia's first group buying platform, and Booking Angel, an innovative online reservation system. Dean holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney and a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising from the University of Technology Sydney.
