Alexandra Hume has a diverse work experience in marketing and management roles. Alexandra started their career at Mars in 2006, where they held various positions, including Territory Manager, Assistant Brand Manager, Brand Manager, and Senior Brand Manager. Alexandra was also recognized for their leadership skills as the State Field Manager for NSW. In 2015, they became the Group Marketing Manager for the Block Chocolate Portfolio, responsible for the launch of Mars into the block segment. Alexandra then moved on to become the Group Marketing Manager for the Freshening and Mints Gum Portfolio, where they successfully managed strategic plans, media campaigns, and the largest budget for the business. In 2018, Alexandra joined Blackmores Group as the Global Marketing Manager on a short-term contract, responsible for establishing a global brand team and managing key marketing projects. Alexandra later became the Global Brand Director and is currently the Global Head of Marketing Effectiveness, Media & Capability.

Alexandra Hume's education history includes completing a Digital Marketing Leadership program at Squared Online from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they attained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Macquarie University between 2002 and 2005, with a focus on Business/Commerce. Alexandra also completed their Secondary School education at the Australian International School in Singapore, culminating with the achievement of the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
