Jon P. Denfeld

Jon P. Denfeld, CFA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in asset management and portfolio management. Currently serving as Director and Head of US Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) and Head of Securitized Core Portfolio Management at BlackRock since 2017, Jon has a wealth of industry knowledge gained from prior roles, including Vice President and Senior U.S. Multi-sector & Securitized Portfolio Manager at AB from 2008 to 2016, and Director and Head of Securitized Strategy at UBS Global Asset Management from 2006 to 2008. Jon began their career as Vice President and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Shay Asset Management from 1993 to 2006. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Fairfield University and graduated from St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School.
