Karl Boatwright

Karl Boatwright is an experienced design professional with a strong background in product design and graphic design. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Design at BlackRock since March 2025, Karl previously held the position of Senior Product Designer at Preqin, where responsibilities included leading design projects from inception to completion. Earlier roles, such as Senior Product Designer at Roxhill Media, involved solo design work on a PR web app, facilitating communication between PRs and journalists. Karl's career began with graphic design positions at B2E Technologies, Penkom, and Walton Web Ltd, focusing on web and print design across various clients. Karl holds a BA Hons in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University, complemented by foundational studies in Art & Design at Bedford College.
