Jayed Stokes is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the President of the Blacks In Technology New Orleans Chapter since March 2022. As the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of TechOurWay, Jayed drives technological innovation and transformative change across various domains. Previous roles include Scrum Master and Project Manager at DXC Technology, where Jayed promoted Agile methodologies and managed multiple software development projects. Jayed's experience also encompasses project management in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and a tenure as People Operations Manager at AT&T, focusing on operational quality and team efficiency. Jayed's educational background includes programs at Tech Talent South, New Horizons Computer Learning Center, and Delgado Community College, with a specialization in Security IT and Computer Networking & Security.

The Blacks In Technology Foundation is the 501(c)(3) non-profit for Blacks In Technology (BIT), the largest community of Black people in the technology industry. Our goal and mission is to “stomp the divide” between Black tech workers and to fundamentally influence and effect change on an industry that has historically not sought parity with respect to Black workers. Our intent is to level the playing field through training, education, networking, and mentorship with the support of allies, partners, sponsors, and most importantly our global members.
