Bradley Schwartz

Brad joined Blake Real Estate in 2020 as the Controller. His responsibilities at Blake include overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, identifying and implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance and completion of all financial and tax reporting requirements.

Before joining Blake Real Estate, Brad worked as a tax accounting manager at the public accounting firm Baker Tilly US, LLP in the construction and real estate group. He was responsible for managing a team of senior and staff accountants as well as providing tax compliance and tax advisory services for clients primarily in the real estate and construction industry.

Brad graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in economics. Post-undergraduate education he earned the professional designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

In his spare time, Brad is an avid beach and grass volleyball player and has placed in many local cash prize tournaments. He also enjoys playing basketball, golf, flag football, and softball.
