Rui Yang

Rui Yang is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk analysis and decision science, currently serving as a Credit Risk Decision Scientist at Block since April 2023. Prior to this role, Rui held the position of Senior Risk Analyst at Afterpay since October 2021 and Senior Credit Risk Analyst at 携程集团 from December 2019 to October 2021. Previous experience includes a role as a Risk Analyst at PINTEC from March 2018 to December 2019, and an internship in Business Analytics at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology in 2017. Early career stages included positions as a Marketing Analyst Intern at Faurecia and Marketing Consulting Analyst Associate at SXL Research. Rui Yang holds a Master’s degree in Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Additionally, Rui has academic experience from the University of Cambridge and completed high school at the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University.
