Daniel E founded BlockBlueLight in November 2015 and currently serves as the CEO. Daniel previously worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at IT Partners Limited and Waikato District Health Board, where Daniel was involved in architecting solutions for core infrastructure technologies. Prior to that, Daniel worked as a Senior Server Engineer at IAG, where Daniel was responsible for upgrading and migrating Enterprise Citrix Farm. Daniel E has a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Commerce, Management Information Systems, and Computer Science, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Systems from the University of Calgary.

BlockBlueLight is the premier global brand for blue and artificial light blocking products. We promote the science behind modern phenomena such as digital eye strain and poor sleep, and the connection these have with screen overuse. Through our innovative product range, we champion eye health, sleep quality, and wellbeing – and promote products and solutions which lessen the effects that blue light (such as from our phones and screens) has on our bodies. At BlockBlueLight, we are passionate about what we do and delight in helping people live healthier lives. Our aim is to make mitigating blue light a mainstream concern and give people tools to be able to be their best selves in today’s digital age.
