Michael Lee

Michael Lee is an experienced blockchain professional with a comprehensive background in architecture and development. Currently serving as Principal Blockchain Architect at Blockchain Capital since July 2019, Michael is responsible for researching core blockchain technologies and leading architectural designs for blockchain systems. Previously, from August 2014 to January 2019, Michael worked as a Blockchain Architect/Engineer at the same company, focusing on product design and development, especially in Hyperledger protocols. Earlier in the career, Michael gained valuable experience at IBM from 2003 to 2014, progressing from an Engineer Intern to a Blockchain Engineer, where responsibilities included writing open-source blockchain code and implementing various types of chains. Michael's experience also includes work as a Software Engineer at Tencent in the late 1990s. Michael holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, and an undergraduate degree from Peking University.
