Jakob Pagter

Jakob Pagter is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and cybersecurity, currently serving as the VP of Engineering for Wallet Security and Vice President of Multiparty Computation at Blockdaemon since July 2022. Pagter has extensive experience as a co-founder of Partisia and Secata, and has held multiple advisory and leadership roles including Board Member at the Danish Council for Digital Security and member of the IT Security Council at DI - Dansk Industri. Previous positions include CTO and co-founder of Sepior, where a focus on multi-party computation techniques contributed to its acquisition by Blockdaemon. Pagter's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from BRICS International Ph.D. School, University of Aarhus, and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Aarhus University, supplemented by a minor in Information Studies.
