Melissa Thornton

Melissa Thornton serves as the Executive Assistant to the CTO and Head of Services at Bloom Energy since April 2024. Previously, Melissa held the position of Sr. Executive Assistant to the CTO at VMware from December 2018 to November 2023. An extensive career includes over 40 years at Westco Security Systems, where Melissa served as Executive Assistant and Co-Owner, managing accounting, recordkeeping, and customer relations. Additional experience at SAP Labs, LLC, involved providing comprehensive support for executives, including calendar and inbox management, travel arrangements, and project management. Earlier experience includes serving as Administrative Assistant to the VP at ComUnity Lending, Inc. Melissa holds a diploma from Oak Grove High School and is proficient in various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Software.
