Marion B.

Marion B. has extensive work experience in various roles throughout their career. Marion started in 2008 as a Student Ambassador at University College London and later became a First Year Undergraduate Tutor and Lab Script Marker in Physical Chemistry. In 2015, they gained experience in transport and sustainability work at Croydon Council. Marion also worked as a Chemistry Tutor at Oxford Science Studies and a GCSE Science Teacher at Croydon Supplementary Education Project.

Marion then transitioned into the field of science education and worked as a Science Teacher at Researchers in Schools, teaching A-level Physics, Chemistry, and KS3/KS4 Science. Marion also worked as a Publishing Editor in the Sustainability portfolio at the Royal Society of Chemistry, overseeing the peer review process and editing manuscripts.

In their recent roles, Marion served as a Data Analyst and later a Senior Data Analyst at Wowcher, where they analyzed deals, optimized pricing, and presented data to various teams within the company. Marion B. received their education in a progressive and consistent manner. Marion began their educational journey by attending Burntwood School from 2000 to 2007, where they pursued their high school degree. Following this, Marion went on to study at UCL, from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained an MSci degree in Chemistry. To further deepen their knowledge and expertise, Marion attended University College London and Uppsala Universitet between 2011 and 2015, earning their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Material Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Marion also obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they completed the "Introduction to Power BI" certification program offered by DataCamp. In May 2016, Marion successfully completed the "MySQL Essential Training" certification program provided by Lynda.com. Moreover, in March 2021, they became an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
