Paul Craig

Paul Craig is an experienced AI Product Engineer at the Courts Administration Service, responsible for designing a bilingual AI chatbot to assist Government of Canada staff. As a Technical Strategist Consultant and Lead Developer at Bloom Works Public Benefit LLC, Paul spearheaded the development of a full-stack Django application for grants.gov. Previously, as a Lead Developer at the Canadian Digital Service, Paul led the tech development of the COVID Alert Portal and user-centric services, utilizing JavaScript, React, and Python. Paul’s career includes roles as a Senior Technical Advisor at Employment and Social Development Canada, where technology stacks and agile practices were defined, as well as earlier experience as a Developer for the Government Digital Service, focusing on public-sector procurement. Paul began in technical roles at the University Students' Council at Western University, contributing to web projects. Paul holds a double major in Computer Science and Media, Information, and Technoculture from Western University and also studied at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
