Lucia Giacomantonio has a wealth of work experience in marketing and communications. Lucia began their career in 2004 as a Communications Coordinator for General Motors. In 2005, they moved on to become an Account Executive at Airfoil Public Relations, where they maintained media and analyst relations outreach, customer testimonial programs, thought leadership opportunities, and supported product launches. In 2008, Lucia held two roles simultaneously, as a Contractor at Singer Associates and as Managing Director at Girls In Tech, where they developed curriculum, coordinated logistics, and executed events. Later that same year, Lucia became an Account Executive at Matter Communications. In 2009, they took on the role of Marketing Manager at Strands, where they led content strategy to drive lead generation and user engagement, as well as product marketing for all new features and product updates. In 2011, they became Senior Marketing Manager at Edmodo, where they helped scale the platform from 1 million to over 70 million users. In 2018, Lucia joined re:purpose as a Marketing Advisor, and currently serves as Director of Marketing at BloomBoard, Inc., where they are responsible for implementing district-level marketing campaigns, developing sales enablement tools, and product marketing.
