Vladimir Altman

Vladimir Altman is an experienced engineering professional specializing in hardware engineering and robotics. Currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Bloomfield since November 2024, Vladimir has a robust background that includes a longstanding role as a Senior Robotics Engineer at Carnegie Mellon University since June 2005. Previously, Vladimir held the position of VP Hardware Engineering at H Quest Vanguard, Inc. from February 2023 to August 2024 and co-founded IAM Robotics, where the role of VP Hardware Engineering was also undertaken from August 2012 to May 2023. Earlier career experience includes working as a Technician at Laurel Networks from April 2001 to June 2005. Vladimir holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Point Park University and an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Pittsburgh Technical College.
