Jacqui Butler

Jacqui Butler is a seasoned editorial professional currently serving as Senior Commissioning Editor for Harry Potter Publishing at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc since June 2021. With extensive freelance editing experience starting in June 2014, Butler has also held notable roles such as Head of Editorial for Global Licensing at Egmont from January 2017 to March 2018, and various positions at Random House Group from January 2006 to May 2014, including Commissioning Editor and Executive Editor for Penguin Children's. Earlier editing experience includes a role at Pan Macmillan from September 2003 to December 2005. Jacqui Butler holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature from King's College London and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Newcastle University.
