Rachel Murphy

Rachel Murphy has extensive experience in production management within the publishing industry, having held various roles at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc since 2011, currently serving as Production Manager for Adult Colour and Special Interest. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, quality control, and supplier relationships, as well as implementing purchasing strategies. Prior to this, Rachel worked as a Production Controller at A&C Black Publishers Limited and Kogan Page, overseeing production processes and negotiations for up to 100 titles annually. Rachel's background also includes a role as Assistant Manager at McDonald's Europe Ltd., in addition to robust academic qualifications, including a Master's degree in Globalisation and Latin American Development from the University of London and a Post Graduate Diploma in Printing and Publishing from the University of the Arts London.
