Miguel Ferreira

Miguel Ferreira is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in simulation and mechanical design. Currently serving as the Lead Simulation Engineer at Bloq.it since November 2024, Miguel previously held the position of Lead Structural CAE Simulation Engineer at AELER Technologies SA, where responsibilities included simulating load cases and enhancing product quality through design modifications. Miguel's background includes work as a Design & Simulations Engineer at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, focusing on the design and production of advanced mechanical systems, and as a Mechanical Design & Simulations Engineer at Bosch Portugal, leading an R&D project in automotive sensors. Earlier experience includes an internship at Panalpina, emphasizing logistics in a transportation context. Miguel earned a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2016.
