Blu Sky was founded by Dave Gibson in May 2005, but really found its legs with the addition of Jon Dudgeon as an equal partner in early 2008. They fine-tuned to the point of winning the Independent Firm of the Year in the 2011 North East Accountancy Awards – beating some substantially bigger competition.But that wasn’t the time to sit still. Theystill consider their to be a work in progress, and their business has grown through a dedication to providing and evolving quality services, listening to their clients, and their internal philosophy that they are a people business, not a numbers business.
