Stephan Katinas

Stephan Katinas has a comprehensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Stephan began their career in 1993 at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as the Director of Provider Contracting. In 2004, they joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island as the Vice President of Contracting Services. After four years, in 2008, they also took on the role of Director of Account Management at Care Management International. In the same year, they joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as the Vice President of Network Contracting, and later advanced to Vice President of Healthcare Contracting and Management. Currently, as of September 2022, Stephan is holding the position of Senior Vice President of Network Payment Innovation & Contract Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Stephan Katinas attended Simmons University from 1989 to 1992, where they pursued a Master's degree in Health Care Administration. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1989, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Texas A&M University.
