Bridget Hurd

Bridget Hurd is an accomplished leader in diversity and inclusion, currently serving as Vice President, Inclusion and Diversity and Chief Diversity Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan since November 2010. In this role, Bridget is responsible for executing the corporate diversity and inclusion strategy, fostering a culture of understanding and acceptance within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as Interim Executive Director for the Southfield Community Foundation, and as Vice President at the Greater Detroit Area Health Council, where strategic partnerships and communication efforts were emphasized. Educationally, Bridget holds an MBA in Marketing from Wayne State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Michigan, and a Certificate for Corporate Citizenship Leadership from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
