Dorcas Oseni is a dedicated professional in the fields of space science and education, currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science since February 2022, focusing on science communication projects. In addition, Dorcas is a Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota, coordinating laboratory and discussion sections for physics courses. Active involvement in the Space Generation Advisory Council encompasses participation as a member of the Space Exploration Project Group and as a delegate at an international congress. As an Education Volunteer for Lecturers without Borders, Dorcas teaches space science to diverse audiences. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Space Geophysics and ongoing PhD studies in Physics at the University of Minnesota. Prior experience includes founding a sustainable footwear company and writing about the African space industry.

Our members constitute a distributed network of scientists across the world that integrate research across disciplinary boundaries and facilitate scientific conversations with the public in traditional and innovative ways.
