Gary Lin

Gary Lin currently serves as Managing Director at Blue Owl Capital, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this, Gary held the title of Managing Director at The Blackstone Group from October 2013 to January 2023, overseeing Institutional Client Solutions and specializing in Latin America and U.S. state pension plans and endowments. Additionally, Gary was a global product specialist for BREIT and headed the Asia Private Wealth Management division. Previous roles include Executive Director at JP Morgan, where responsibilities included managing a $1.5B portfolio in Southeast Asia Private Banking, and Vice President at Morgan Stanley. Earlier in Gary's career, Gary worked as an Associate at Merrill Lynch and served as a Financial Advisor, building substantial client relationships. Gary holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BA in Computer Science from Cornell University.
