Blue Engine
Emily Hauptman has extensive experience in educational and mentoring roles, starting as a Group Counselor at Deerkill Day Camp from July 2011 to August 2016, where responsibilities included supervising preschoolers and serving as a bus counselor. Emily has also served as a Program Intern at 826 Boston from February 2015 to May 2015, mentoring students in writing and reading in a low-income neighborhood. Currently, Emily works as a Blue Engine Teaching Apprentice at Blue Engine since August 2016, collaborating with an experienced teacher to provide English Language Arts instruction and individualized support for high school students. Emily holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College, completed in 2016.
