Mahdi Ashktorab

Mahdi Ashktorab is a Principal Hardware Engineer at BlueHalo, with extensive experience in hardware development and engineering roles across several companies. Prior to joining BlueHalo in December 2021, Mahdi served as Principal Hardware Engineer at Citadel Defense Company, leading the hardware development of a compact Counter-UAS system and overseeing various stages of testing and design. Previous roles include Senior Hardware Engineer and Hardware Engineer at BCG Digital Ventures, where Mahdi designed PCB automated test equipment, and Researcher at UCLA, focusing on wireless health technologies. Notable internships include work at Apple in developing the smart connector for the first-generation iPad Pro and at NASA Ames Research Center in scientific research utilizing satellite imagery. Mahdi holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San José State University.
