Zhi Chen

Zhi Chen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles within prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at BlueHalo since February 2018, Zhi designs and develops software solutions for DoD R&D contracts. Prior experience includes owning and consulting for Symfony Technologies LLC, working on NASA's Goddard FDF Raptor project and the 508 compliant IDIS. Zhi also held a Software Engineer position at Cerner Corporation, developing web applications and plugins to enhance healthcare software solutions, and previously served as a Java Developer at NOAA, migrating applications to a Java/SOA based system. Earlier career as a Software Developer at SumoBrain involved managing large-scale Java backend projects. Academically, Zhi holds a graduate certificate in Data Science from the University of Maryland, a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Lamar University.
