Jeff LaFayette has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jeff started their career at Merrill Lynch in 1985, managing the U.S. Southwest Region Commodity and Futures Trading unit. Jeff then moved on to work at Prudential Securities Inc as a Vice President, where they focused on operations management and provided solutions for retail sectors. After that, they became a Managing Partner at Provident Advisors LLC, where they focused on advisory and consulting services related to global resources, alternative investments, and risk protection strategies. Jeff then worked as a Director and Portfolio Manager at Swank Capital LLC, managing a global resources-specific portfolio. Jeff later joined LaFayette Consulting as a Consultant and Business Analyst, where they led various Project Management deals and performed financial and operational valuations. Jeff also worked at JPMorgan Chase as a Trade Team Manager, leading a team and optimizing operational efficiency. More recently, they served as the Director of Operations at Stratera Services (Provasi Capital), where they were responsible for fund operations and platform onboarding. Currently, Jeff works at Bluerock as the SVP - Director of Securities Operations, managing the day-to-day operations activities.
Jeff LaFayette received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Central College in Pella, Iowa, from 1980 to 1984. In addition, they also completed a Degree Coursework in International Business Management at the Central College International Studies Program in Merida, during the period of 1983 to 1984.
