Katie Beasley

Katie Beasley, PharmD has a diverse work experience in clinical development and research. Katie has held various roles at BlueRock Therapeutics, including their current position as Senior Director of Clinical Development. Prior to BlueRock Therapeutics, they worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. where they served as a Director and Associate Director of Clinical Development Scientist. Katie'sresponsibilities included designing and executing clinical trials, serving as a Medical Monitor, and contributing to global clinical development plans in the neurology therapeutic area. Katie also worked at AGTC, where they held positions as an Associate Director of Clinical Research, Clinical Scientist, and Clinical Research Manager. In these roles, they led clinical science and medical safety efforts, ensured scientific integrity of clinical data, managed pharmacovigilance responsibilities, and developed clinical study documents. Before that, they gained experience at the University of Southern California as a Lead Intern Pharmacist and Graduate Research Fellow, where they provided outpatient and specialty pharmacy services and conducted medication therapy management services. Katie also interned at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, supporting the development of medical information materials. Additionally, they worked at Florida Atlantic University as a Laboratory Manager and Adjunct Professor, teaching applied science lectures and coordinating research assistants. Katie began their career as a Research Physiologist Associate at the United States Department of Defense, conducting research to improve military performance and mitigate injuries.

Katie Beasley, PharmD, graduated from the University of Southern California in 2016 with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree in Pharmacy. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Applied Physiology from the University of Connecticut from 2007 to 2009 and a Bachelor's Degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from the same university from 2003 to 2007.
