Bluestar Engineering Ltd. is a Calgary-based Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) company, providing upstream, and midstream engineering consulting services to the oil and gas industry in Western Canada. Bluestar is a fully integrated multi-disciplinary services company offering a broad spectrum of engineering services. Bluestar provides consulting services to identify, plan, execute, and commission capital projects as well as optimize existing assets. Bluestar focuses on providing a cost-effective, efficient, and fit-for-purpose solution to its clients. Currently Bluestar has a foundation of approximately 90 full-time employees and contractors across various engineering disciplines. Bluestar has a strong staff foundation in project management, procurement and expediting, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and drafting, mechanical design and drafting, as well as civil and structural engineering. Bluestar currently holds a Permit to Practice with the Association of Professional Engineering and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), as well as a Certificate of Authorization with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS). In addition, several of their staff engineers are also registered professionals with both the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC), the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba (APEGM), and other provinces as required on a project basis.
