Francesco Bertella is a seasoned marine engineer with extensive experience in offshore operations, particularly in drilling and heavy lift vessels. Currently serving as ATSL and 1st Engineer at Bluewhale Offshore since January 2017, Francesco has a diverse background that includes roles such as Deck Engineer at Allseas and Engine Room Operator at various drilling rigs, including "Seadrill - West Orion" and "West Taurus." Previous positions held span from 3rd Engineer roles at Carnival Corporation and Chevron to engineering positions with Sevan Drilling ASA and Saipem. Francesco holds a degree in Marine Engineering from I.T.N.S "Nazario Sauro" La Spezia and possesses a Chief Engineer License (3000 Kw or more).
