Ming Wang is an experienced rig electrician with a strong background in offshore drilling operations. Currently employed at Bluewhale Offshore since December 2020, Ming specializes in ultra-deepwater semi-submersible drilling units, focusing on Wartsila azimuth thrusters and NOV drilling equipment. Previously, at Velesto Energy Berhad, Ming held the position of chief electrician from July 2014 to December 2020, working on various jack-up rigs. Ming's experience also includes a significant tenure at COSL Drilling Pan Pacific Ltd, where roles included chief electrician and electrician, with expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical systems such as ABB power management. Ming holds a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineer Technology from China University of Petroleum.
