Preston Porter has a diverse work experience in the finance and auditing fields. Preston started their career as a Jr. Auditor at Barrington Media Group in 2014 and later served as a Staff Accountant, where they worked closely with management and analysts to monitor invoicing, payments, and costs. Preston then moved on to become the Manager of Audit and Controls, ensuring financial and operational controls were maintained. Porter then became the Director of Finance, managing the company's finances and overseeing cash flow and financial reporting. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Operations at Barrington Media Group. Prior to their time at Barrington, Porter worked as a Compliance Specialist at Data Quest, where they performed undercover audits and created detailed reports on operational effectiveness and compliance practices. Additionally, they have experience as a Portfolio Analyst and Operations Intern at AXA Advisors, LLC, where they researched funds and presented findings to branch vice presidents. Porter also worked as a Connecticut Branch Operations Intern at AXA US, supporting branch operations and coordinating with senior management.
Preston Porter attended Quinnipiac University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. In 2012, they also briefly studied International Business at the University of Nicosia, focusing on Global Business Operations.
