Robert Smith

Robert Smith is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in supply chain management, business development, and operational leadership across the Middle East and Africa. Currently serving as Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Supply Chain Officer at BMMI since July 2001, Robert has managed multiple P&L clusters and developed supply chain solutions for international clients in challenging environments. Previous roles include Executive VP for Contract Services & Supply, where Robert oversaw ten operational platforms, and New Business Development Manager, instrumental in expanding BMMI's operations into Qatar. Earlier career highlights include serving as Area Manager at DAMAC UAE, Managing Director at Bampton Inns Ltd, and Business Stream Director at Inchcape Middle East. Robert holds several degrees from esteemed institutions, including an Executive Program from The Wharton School and a BA in Business Administration from The University of Huddersfield, along with a Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching & Mentoring from the Chartered Management Institute.
