Irene Lo

Irene Lo is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and strategic solutions. Currently serving as Director at BMO Financial Group since March 2010, Irene manages daily repo and collateral activities for Corporate Treasury and develops strategies for interest rate management on the structural balance sheet. Previously, Irene was the first Market Risk Controller in the Asia Pacific Region at Morgan Stanley, overseeing market risk exposures across various equity trading desks. Irene's background also includes a role as a Senior Consultant at Protiviti, where financial institution clients received expertise in hedge accounting and regulatory review, and as a Senior Auditor at KPMG LLP, contributing to audit engagements for notable financial institutions. Irene holds a Master of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
