Mangesh Bhangare

Mangesh B. is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science & AI at BMO since July 2022, leading the Enterprise Data Science and AI team with a focus on transforming business processes through Data Science, AI, and MLOps. Prior to this role, Mangesh held various positions at RBC from 2016 to 2022, including Director of Data Science and Engineering, where responsibilities included managing a portfolio of machine learning models and developing a client-level enterprise view of client sentiment using advanced data analysis techniques. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Manager of Data Science and Data Scientist, wherein Mangesh developed predictive models and led projects utilizing technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Python. Mangesh began a career at Accenture as a Software Engineer, concentrating on data analytics and application development. Mangesh holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning/AI and Big Data from Simon Fraser University.
