Malaika O'Rourke, CPA, currently serves as Assistant Controller at BNBuilders since April 2024. Prior to this role, Malaika was Financial Controller at GGN (Gustafson Guthrie Nichol) from November 2018 to April 2024, where responsibilities included preparing financial statements and annual budgets. Experience also includes a Supervisor position at King & Oliason from January 2013 to April 2018, overseeing tax preparation and consulting projects, and a Manager role at Concur Technologies, focusing on international tax compliance. Earlier positions include managerial roles at Eddie Bauer and Deloitte, specializing in corporate tax compliance and return preparation, respectively, as well as experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Staff member. Malaika holds a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
