Sebastien Conort

Sebastien Conort currently serves as ML Engineering Director and Chief Data Scientist at BNP Paribas Cardif since September 2014, managing a team that develops AI-based products across natural language processing, computer vision, and machine learning for insurance applications. Previously, Sebastien held the position of Global Data Scientist, where expertise in predictive analytics and machine learning was employed, utilizing advanced Python libraries. Prior experience includes roles at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking, focusing on equity derivatives structuring, pricing methodologies, and the development of centralized pricing tools, as well as positions at Societe Generale CIB and B&W Deloitte. Sebastien holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master in Applied Mathematics and Economics from École Polytechnique, and has furthered education with a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Stanford University.
