Assistant Professor at Bob Jones University

Kirby Rose is currently an Assistant Professor at Bob Jones University since August 2024 and also serves as a Speech Language Pathologist at the Advanced Institute for Development and Learning since July 2021. Previous experience includes a role as a Speech Language Pathologist during clinical training at WAKE FOREST BAPTIST HEALTHCARE CENTER - Brenner Children's Hospital, where evaluations and treatments for children with speech disorders were conducted. Additional clinical experiences include evaluating preschool-aged children at Iredell Statesville Schools and leading therapeutic theatre sessions for young adults with Down syndrome. Graduate clinical placements involved screenings for adult and geriatric patients at the Interprofessional Clinic and diagnostic evaluations at The Village of Wilkes. Kirby Rose holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Appalachian State University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the same institution. Experience as a Summer Executive Team Member at Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer further highlights leadership skills.
