Pietro Vagliera

Pietro Vagliera has extensive work experience in various roles related to quality management, continuous improvement, and project management. Their most recent position was at BOBST as the Global Head of Quality & Continuous Improvement, where they oversaw the deployment of quality management systems and led organizational development and improvement initiatives. Prior to that, they worked at ABB as the Global Quality and Opex Manager, SCM GROUP SPA as the Group Quality Director, and General Electric Oil & Gas in several roles including Master Black Belt Lean Six Sigma, Senior Risk Manager, and Senior Turbo Machinery Project Manager. Pietro also worked at GEA as a Senior Project Manager and at Whirlpool Corporation as a Project Manager.

Pietro Vagliera began their education at Politecnico di Torino in 1987 and completed their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (automotive) in 1994. In 1999, they enrolled in SDA Bocconi and obtained an MBA in Business Administration the following year. Pietro also obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including a Six Sigma Master Black Belt from ABB in June 2017, a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from GE in October 2008, a TTT Train the Trainer - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from GE in 2008, a Green Belt Lean Six Sigma from GE in December 2004, and a Chartered Engineer certification from Politecnico di Torino in 1996.
