John Kipp

John Kipp serves as the Director of Cybersecurity at Boerne ISD since August 2023, following extensive experience in various technology and management roles. Previously, John was the Manager of Technology Operations at VIA Metropolitan Transit, overseeing a team responsible for data center and desktop support. John also held the position of Senior Director of IT at BioBridge Global, managing IT infrastructure and operations for the organization. Notably, John spent nearly a decade in the United States Air Force, where roles included Deputy CIO for the 59 Medical Wing and Command and Control Systems Flight Commander, showcasing leadership in managing substantial IT portfolios and programs. Education includes a Master of Applied Science in Computer and Information Resource Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from the United States Air Force Academy.
