Sevtap Demirci

Sevtap Demirci is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in Turkish history, currently serving as the Director of the Atatürk Institute at Boğaziçi University since August 2022 and as a Professor since November 1984. Demirci has contributed significantly to the field through teaching roles at various universities, including Milli Savunma Üniversitesi, Marmara University, Yeditepe University, and the University of Cambridge. Demirci's education includes an M.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in International History from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Key involvements include advising the Atatürk's Thought Club and serving as a member of the Petition Committee at Boğaziçi University.
